August Wildcats of the Month!!
Our Kindergarten students recently finished their 5 senses Knowledge unit and why the senses are important to learning about the world around them. Today, they had a guest speaker, DaMyri Stepter, who is legally blind. DaMyri is a junior at Nicholls State University and studying finance. He spoke to the students about his daily life and how his other senses guide him through daily tasks despite not having his eyesight. We are so thankful for his kindness and talking to our Kindergarten students.
